About me

I was born in Donegal, though my family moved to London when I was young. Later in life, I spent nearly 20 years living in Costa Rica, where my children were born. In 2021 I returned home to Ireland and settled back in Donegal, in a picturesque spot overlooking Mulroy Bay.

For most of my working life I ran a web development company, building systems and websites for companies and organisations around the world. After two decades in that industry, I decided it was time for a different kind of work, something slower, more hands-on, and creative.

Wood carving and woodworking became that path. What started as a simple interest grew into a daily craft. I now spend my time carving and creating unique handmade pieces in wood and resin, from pet portraits to lamps.

Working from my shed in a rural area beside Mulroy Bay, each piece I make is handcrafted with care. There’s something deeply satisfying about turning a simple piece of wood into something personal, meaningful, and lasting.
